Apple iPAD 2 has been sold out for the past 3 days. One has to come at around 7am to get a small chance of owning an iPAD early.
I don’t think theres any difference between the iPad 2 and the iPad 1. It is only slightly thinner. I played with it for 10 minutes and my wrist became sore due to the weight. It is hard to type using your thumbs as the iPad is just too wide. I think the galaxy tab i(7inch) is more comfortable to use. Furthermore, the pixel density of the Tab is much better than the iPAD, which means it much sharper than the iPad.
The poor resolution of the iPAD is very disappointng. There is no retina display.
Will the iPAD 2 succeed? If only XOOM and Galaxy Tab 10.1 market their products the way Apple did it, I think they are much better products than the iPad 2. They have much more superior resolution of 1280x1024 as compared to the iPAD’s poor resolution of only 1024x768.
The resolution does matter if you want to be able to read on the tablet.
Nevertheless, JPmorgan analyst might be wrong. The iPAD isnt the overall winner. There will be competition as soon as people realize that Google Honeycomb is awesome.
On this note, I think the market looks set to recover from the massive sell off since the Japanese reactors are already cooling off.
